The first Toastmasters club was established in 1924 in Santa Ana, Ca. Today there are over 11,000 clubs and more than 225,000 members in 92 countries around the world.

For the sixth year in a row, The Towns of York is recognized as a "President's Distinguished Club" for 2008-2009 by Toastmasters International.
